About the Nurse Committee
The Society’s Nurse Committee was formed in 1997 to:
- Advise on dedicated sessions for nurses at the Society’s
annual BES meeting
- Advise on an education programme for nurses
- Provide a network for nurses to communicate on relevant issues
- Provide a source of expertise to colleagues and nurses new to
the speciality
- Play a leading role in developing guidelines for best nursing practice
The current chair of the committee is Ms Maggie Carson from Edinburgh.
The
current vice-chair is Mrs Nikki Kieffer from Leicester.
