Grants and Prizes
Early Career Grant Programme
Formerly the Small Grant Programme
The early career grant programme has been established to support endocrinologists in a number of ways, including for example:
- Resources to gain preliminary data before applying for other external funding
- A specific piece of equipment
- Resources to finalise a project
- Short term salary funding
(this is a non-exclusive list of examples)
This grant incorporates monies from the Society for Endocrinology Marjorie Robinson endowment fund. If applicants wish to be considered for the Marjorie Robinson Award, the application should reflect the criteria of the fund; this is that the grant must be used for research into diseases of the adrenal and/or pituitary glands.

Scientists-in-Training and Clinicians-in-Training may apply if they hold a minimum of six months’ membership. It is anticipated that the applicant will normally be an academic or academic-related staff member. If not, a letter of support is required by the principal investigator or clinical team leader.
