The new Clinical Update series incorporates the Society’s Summer
School and the Oxford Advanced Endocrinology Seminar. It is aimed at trainees
and young consultants and will follow the PMETB/RCP curriculum. The 2007
meeting will take place in Manchester on 5-7 Nov 2007.
Over a three-year period, the programme will cover the new national
curriculum in endocrinology & diabetes and is set to become the UK’s
premier national training event. Sessions will comprise didactic lectures
for all delegates and a number of parallel, themed, interactive workshops.
These workshops will be repeated a number of times providing delegates
with the opportunity of attending all sessions over the three days. The
programme for years 1, 2 and 3 will provide content at a similar level
and will not move from basic to advanced over the three years.
This year’s meeting has been CPD accredited with 18 external credits for the three days, activity code 36426.
