About the Autumn Endocrine Retreat 2008

The first of our new retreats for our trainee members will take place on 17-19 October 2008 in Oxfordshire. This initiative aims to further meet the educational needs of trainee members and to promote applications for the Society's postgraduate diploma. Led by Dr Rob Fowkes, the retreat will:

• provide an informal setting for PhD students/early post-docs to gain experience in presenting work;
• encourage younger members to actively participate in an event; provide networking opportunities;
• encourage participants to undertake/complete the postgraduate diploma in endocrinology.
