Situated in central Britain, Manchester has a population of 2.5 million people. As a city with roots in ancient history, it is regarded as one of the most progressive, cosmopolitan cities in the UK.  Manchester was the original city of the Industrial Revolution, the home of the first computer, along with the first ever professional football team. Few cities have enjoyed the levels of restoration Manchester has seen, the city now covered by excellent transport links across the UK and Europe, with London only two hours away by train. Manchester is well-served by hotel accommodation at all levels, from budget accommodation to stylish boutique hotels and four and five star establishments. The conference facilities are excellent with Manchester Central offering a variety of conference and exhibition services that form a unique convention complex right in the heart of the city.

The event will host a varied social programme which will include favourites such as the Welcome Reception. A conference dinner will be held on the Tuesday evening. Pleasant food and lively entertainment will help to make this an evening to remember.

Abstracts can be submitted online and the abstract deadline is 16 November 2009. Registrations are also submitted online.

We look forward to seeing you in Manchester.
