About the special interest groups
The Society for Endocrinology formed special interest groups (SIGs) in order to provide a focus for the sub-specialities within endocrinology and so strengthen the discipline as a whole. Each of the SIGs will achieve this overall aim by:
- providing a framework for the sub-specialties to come together in a community and promoting interdisciplinary interests within the Society
- organising small meetings - either stand-alone or satellite meetings at the annual Society for Endocrinology meeting
- increasing the profile of endocrinology as a speciality

Society for Endocrinology members can register their interest in the special interest groups though their online membership profile.
