A postdoctoral position is available in the Brisken group to study the mechanisms by which oestrogen and progesterone receptor signalling promote breast carcinogenesis in vivo. In close collaboration with clinical partners innovative xenograft models and ex vivo approaches are developed in the laboratory. Lentiviral technology will be used to modulate in vivo gene function.

Applicants must hold a PhD in the field of molecular biology, developmental or cancer biology, or biochemistry and have a demonstrated track record of innovative scientific publications. The initial contract is for one year, with the possibility of an extension to four years.
