Consultant Endocrine Surgeon, King's College Hospital

Via www.healthjobsuk.com. King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a consultant in endocrinology and trauma. The consultant post has been created to further support and help develop the endocrine service at King’s College Hospital. King’s is a designated major trauma centre and the postholder will be expected to make a significant contribution to this.

An enthusiastic consultant is sought with advanced skills who should be experienced in both endocrine and emergency surgery. The post represents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic surgery team. The wider general surgery team encompasses six vascular surgeons, two endocrine surgeons, three UGI/bariatric/HPB surgeons and two breast surgeons. The postholder will participate on the general surgery on call rota.

The postholder will have regular all day operating lists, DSU lists and clinics and will have a 1:4 on call commitment to the Acute Surgical Unit on call rota.
