20 Feb 2012
Voice of the future 2012 is a Question Time style debate where young scientists and engineers are invited to put their questions to: David Willetts MP, Minister for Universities and Science, Chi Onwurah MP, Shadow Minister for Innovation and Science and members of the House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee .
All you need to do is email Dr Martin Turner (m.turner@amrc.org) and tell me what you would ask the panel. It might be about career stability for post-docs or the reducing levels of funding for equipment in institutes and universities. Send your email by Monday 27 February with your question, name and contact details and name of your charity funder.
The best questions will be picked by an AMRC panel, and successful candidates will hear back from AMRC by 1 March. Voice of the Future 2012 will be held on Wednesday 14 March, 9.00am –12.30pm in the Boothroyd Room, Portcullis House, Westminster, SW1A 1LX. Unfortunately we are unable to cover travel or accommodation expenses.
