The European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes (EFSD) was created by the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) to provide multiple funding initiatives in all areas of diabetes research. The aims of EFSD are to encourage and support research in the field of diabetes, to rapidly diffuse acquired knowledge and to facilitate its application. The objective of the EFSD/MSD research fellowships is to encourage innovative research focusing on the endocrine pancreas and to support talented young investigators engaged in diabetes research.

These postdoctoral fellowships of €50,000 will be awarded to individuals already holding a PhD, MD or equivalent degree. The closing date for applications is 10 March 2012. Click on the link below for more information.
