The Institute of Cellular Medicine at Newcastle University seeks an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a PhD (or working towards a PhD) in molecular biology (or related area) and gene regulation studies to work on a project investigating the regulation and functional impact of alternative splicing events of the progesterone receptor gene.

Knowledge and experience in the field of alternative splicing and hormone receptor signalling is also required, as is experience of cell culture, transient transfections, gene silencing techniques, Co-IPs, Q-PCR and ELISA.
