Researchers in Residence (RinR), funded by RCUK with support from the Wellcome Trust, brings together researchers, young people and teachers via exciting and innovative placements in secondary schools and colleges across the UK.

This scheme brings researchers (from PhD students to Professors) into the classroom to act as ambassadors for science, providing a valuable experience for the students and researcher alike. Participants in the scheme can work on projects, take the classs through a practical lesson or present their own research. The placement is flexible and designed to benefit everyone involved.
