Brain regulates cholesterol in blood, study suggests (BBC News Online, 6 June 2010)

New research published in Nature Neuroscience suggests that the hunger hormone ghrelin could be responsible for regulating the levels of cholesterol in your bloodstream. The study, carried out on mice, showed that animals that had higher ghrelin levels went on to develop higher cholesterol levels.
