Sponsored in part by ESE, the Summer School on Endocrinology 2010 will take place in Bregenz, Austria from 18-22 July. Aimed at young researchers, the school promises an open and interactive programme covering this year's three focus topics: the HPG axis and the ovary; development and function of endocrine cells and cells of the musculoskeletal unit; SIRTs, aging and prevention.

The school will take place in the monastery Mehrerau (founded 1067) on the shore of Lake Constance, and the scientific programme will be accompanied by a festival of opera and a variety of sports activities.
