Applications are invited for a clinical research associate post available for 2 years funded by the MRC. The post will be based at the Institute of Human Genetics, Newcastle University, and at the Clinical Research Facility, Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne led by Prof. Simon Pearce. The successful candidate will have a medical degree, full MRCP (PACES) and will have completed their foundation training and have experience of clinical endocrinology. They will be interested in a career in endocrinology and will have the opportunity to complete an MD or contribute data towards a PhD, with a focus on pathogenesis and management of autoimmune endocrine diseases.

The successful applicant will need to have an understanding of both the principles of adrenal function, pathophysiology of autoimmune diseases and clinical trials methodology.
