Science communication workshops

10 Feb 2010

Are you interested in gaining the skills to make your work more accessible to the scientific community and public? Two workshops will be taking place soon hosted by organisations that have a great deal of experience in science communication: register now to avoid disappointment:

Sense About Science workshop - Research: publishing it, reviewing it and talking about it publicly.

Sense About Science will be holding a workshop on peer review at the University of Sussex on Friday 5 March. This event is free, and deals with the process and criticisms of peer review in journal publishing. What does peer review do for science? Does it detect fraud and misconduct? Will it illuminate good ideas or shut them down? Registration for the even closes on Friday 19 February.
