Via healthjobsuk.com. Two consultant positions in diabetes, endocrinology and acute medicine are available at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. The posts involve some teaching but the department/ trust/ medical school have proven record of supporting career development within research, management or education according to the appointee’s interests. One post offers a balance of clinical work between acute medicine (joining an Acute Medical Rota with 6 rota’d colleagues) and diabetes and endocrinology and we are looking for applicants with a strong interest in both specialties.

The other post is a more traditional mix of diabetes, endocrinology and general medicine. It is anticipated that the appointees will join the on call rota covering general medicine, 1 in 16 evening ward rounds, 1 in 8 weekends. Outpatient clinical work will be outpatient diabetes and endocrinology, with both posts involving inpatient specialty ward care. Application details are available via the website below.
