Oxford public learns about sex hormones

22 May 2009

The Society's latest public engagement venture saw members of the Oxford public turn out in force to learn about sex hormones. Professor Stephen Franks (Imperial College London) delivered an informative and engaging talk on the science behind the female reproductive system and how sex hormones shape our development and our lives. We organised the event in collaboration with 'Science Oxford' who provided a fantastic venue for the lecture and informal setting for a drinks reception and discussion before and after the event. We would like to extend our thanks to Professor Franks, Science Oxford and local Society members who came along to support us.

If you missed the lecture, you can access the webcast at the link below (event title: 'How Hormones Shape Your Life').
