Via healthjobsuk.com. A full-time Band 7 post of Clinical Nurse Specialist in Diabetes and Endocrinology is available at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This position requires an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse specialist to join the team of Diabetes Nurse Specialists supporting diabetes services. In collaboration with other members of the multi professional team the clinical nurse specialist will assist and co-ordinate a smooth pathway of care throughout the diabetic patients’ journey and act as a resource to patients and their carers in relation to their condition. This will include working autonomously managing a case load of patients, both in and out patients. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to the development of diabetes in and out patients. You will be a registered nurse, preferably a non-medical prescriber, with experience working at in a diabetes specialty. Your portfolio will demonstrate autonomous delivery of Nurse led care, practice development, teaching in clinical practice, audit and research.
