Seeking recent Ph.D. graduates for funded openings to study growth hormone action and JAK-STAT signaling, using genome-wide technologies combined with computational analysis and traditional molecular approaches to elucidate the molecular mechanisms that determine sexually dimorphic gene expression in the liver. Expertise in using genome-wide approaches to study transcriptional regulation of gene expression, epigenetic control mechanisms and/or cell signaling required; familiarity with computational tools for microarray analysis, ChIP-chip, ChIP-seq and the use of mouse models highly desirable.
