Specialty Certificate Examination in Endocrinology and Diabetes - registration now closed

The Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians has agreed all candidates who take the exam for the first time in 2008, 2009 or 2010 and who fail their first attempt will automatically be offered a retake at no extra charge. This offer will apply to all candidates, both in the UK and overseas. It will be backdated and made available to all candidates who have already taken the examination and did not pass. The Federation has also agreed to grant the postnominal: Cert.RCP(UK) (Endocrinology & Diabetes) to all candidates who pass the SCE. Only UK trainees who go on to attain their CCT will be able to upgrade to MRCP(UK) (Endocrinology & Diabetes).

The deadline for registering for the examination has now passed.

A total of 42 candidates (26 UK, the rest overseas) have registered. The examination will take place on 20 May 2009. For further information, please refer to the MRCP website below or email: [email protected].
