We are pleased to report that the second of the Society’s Clinical Update meetings was a huge success. Clinical Update 2008 (CU08) was held in Bristol in October and was attended by 181 paying delegates. Feedback from delegates was very positive with 94% of questionnaire respondents finding the meeting "good" or "excellent" overall. 91% of respondents felt that CU08 had contributed "very well" (50%) or "well" (40%) to their training in diabetes and endocrinology. We would like to extend our thanks to Dr Steve Ball (Programme Coordinator), the convenors, topic leaders and delegates for making CU08 such a successful event.
