The National Osteoporosis Society (NOS) run two national training courses in the field of bone densitometry: 1. Theoretical Lecture Course on Osteoporosis and Bone Densitometry (open to all healthcare professionals), which takes place on 16-17 March 2009 at Novotel Birmingham Centre. 2. Radiation Protection Training - IR(ME)R 2000 which takes place on 17 March 2009, also at Novotel Birmingham Centre. The latter is a half-day lecture course relating to clinical bone densitometry and is aimed at operators and practitioners.
