Kevin Murphy is a Professor of Endocrinology and Metabolism at Imperial College London where his research focuses on how the gut senses nutritional status to regulate food intake and glucose homeostasis.

He has received funding from sources including the BBSRC, MRC, Diabetes UK, the Technology Strategy Board and the NC3Rs, and has reviewed applications and sat on committees for national and international funding bodies.
