Abstracts

Abstract submission deadline: Wednesday 1 April 2026 (23:59 BST) 

Sharing your work at the Osteoporosis Conference 2026 is a fantastic opportunity to get useful feedback and ideas to progress your work as well as boosting your presentation and networking skills. Accepted abstracts will be presented as oral communications or posters at the Conference. 

Please submit your abstract using the link to our submission system above. 

Accepted abstracts will be published online in Bone Abstracts: a fully citable, open-access resource of presentations from endocrinology conferences. 

Important information 

• Abstracts must be no longer than 350 words. 
• Tables and references are permitted but these will be included in your word count. The use of figures or photographs is not permitted. 
• Abstracts are marked blind (anonymously). 
• Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection in mid-May 2026. 
• Abstracts are accepted on the understanding that the work has not been published or presented elsewhere. 
• If your abstract is accepted, at least one author must pay the registration fees and attend the Osteoporosis Conference 2026. 
• Withdrawals and amendments must be made before Friday 31 July 2026. After this date you will be unable to make any changes or withdraw your abstract from publication in Bone Abstracts. Please note that once published, we are unable to make amendments to the content, wording or author lists of abstracts.
