Society for Endocrinology - a world-leading authority on hormones

Dr Helen Turner (MA (Cantab.) MD FRCP LLB Hons) has been a Consultant Endocrinologist in Oxford since 2000, training at Cambridge University and St Bartholomew’s Hospital followed by Oxford. Her MD research focused on 'angiogenesis in endocrine tumours'. With numerous published papers, her key interests span Turner Syndrome, Thyroid eye disease management, and Endocrinopathies due to Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Treatment. She is a member of the Diabetes and Endocrinology council of the RSM, and the Society for Endocrinology Clinical Committee and Patient Support Group, she liaises with the Turner Syndrome Support Society and Thyroid eye Charitable Trust. Dr. Turner initiated and edits the Oxford Handbook of Endocrinology and organises the annual Oxford Endocrine Masterclass as well as other SFE and RSM meetings.
