Do you want to shape the future of endocrinology, influence the direction of your discipline, and play an active role in the leading organisation for the endocrine community?
Nominations are now open for the 2025/26 Society for Endocrinology committee elections. This is a unique opportunity to help guide the future of endocrinology, broaden your professional profile, and connect with colleagues across the UK and beyond. Committee roles offer members the chance to apply their skills in new ways, influence the direction of the discipline, and contribute to the work of a leading organisation for the endocrine community.
Vacancies are available across a range of committees, including the Awards and Prizes Committee, Clinical Committee, Nurse Committee, Programme Committee, and Science Committee. We welcome applications from members at all career stages and from all backgrounds to ensure our committees reflect the diversity of the community we serve.
"Medical training is a marathon, not a sprint. Taking time out of training to pursue other interests (especially research, leadership, teaching opportunities, etc.) is a valuable way to acquire new and diverse skills." – Edouard Mills, committee member
By joining a Society committee, you’ll:
- Apply your skills in new and meaningful ways
- Strengthen your CV and broaden your professional profile
- Gain a bigger-picture view of the work we do together
- Build valuable connections across the community
Applications will close on 3 November at 23:59. Successful applicants will enter their term in March 2026.
