Applications are invited for Editor-in-Chief for Journal of Endocrinology. Journal of Endocrinology is the flagship basic science journal of the UK’s Society for Endocrinology, and an official journal of the European Society of Endocrinology. It is a global forum for original molecular, biochemical and physiological studies concerned with the structure and function of endocrine and endocrine-related systems. It is owned and published by the Society for Endocrinology, a registered charity. The Society invites applications for the role of Editor-in-Chief for a five-year term starting in January 2009. Candidates should have globally recognized expertise relevant to the journal’s broad-ranging scope, and creative ideas about how its subject coverage should be developed over the coming years. Note that Journal of Endocrinology is not a clinical journal. There is a small honorarium, and strong administrative support from the Society for Endocrinology’s Bristol office.
