Applications are open for the 2026 National Clinical Impact Awards and will close at 5pm on Wednesday, 20 May.

These influential awards reflect the diversity of the consultant population. The scheme is open to all eligible consultants and recognises those who demonstrate genuine national impact.

Whether you are a first-time or returning applicant, there is guidance available to help you present your evidence and clearly demonstrate the impact of your work to ACCIA regional subcommittee members who will be scoring your application.

Applicants do not need permission from their employer to apply. However, employers will be asked as part of the process to confirm the accuracy of the information included in the application. View the full guidance for applicants before applying.

To register and apply, please visit the ACCIA portal and ensure that the organisation you are registered under is correct. Clinical academics should register under the organisation where they hold an honorary contract.
