In order to support upcoming talent, these oral and poster prizes are only open to early career endocrinologists. The prizes will be given to the listed presenting author of the winning abstracts only.

The Best Poster in each category will be chosen from the Poster Orals presented in subject-specific Poster Oral sessions during the Conference. These have already been shortlisted as the top-scoring posters in each of the Conference streams.

Best Oral and Best Poster prize winners will receive £300 and £200 respectively.

There will also be an additional prize for the overall Best Oral Communication and overall Best Poster at SfE BES 2026.

Selected posters will also be reviewed by members of the Society for Endocrinology’s Committees during SfE BES 2026. The top-scoring of these will be labelled as a Highly Commended Poster and will receive a certificate following the Conference.

This Clinical Cases Poster Prize is supported by the Society for Endocrinology in association with Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism Case Reports (EDMCR). The winner will be awarded £200 and will be entitled to publish their case free of charge in the open-access resource EDM Case Reports*, which publishes insightful case reports in all areas of clinical endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism (standard publication charge £800).

The top 10 Featured Clinical Case Posters will be reviewed during the Conference and the winner determined.

*The winning case report will be subject to the normal peer review process; therefore, ultimate publication cannot be guaranteed.

The Society for Endocrinology will present these two prizes in memory of Mari Green. They are awarded to the best submitted abstracts on the topic of adrenal cancer and on a teaching subject, respectively, and will be awarded £200 each.

The Society for Endocrinology will present this prize in the memory of Matthew Forman. It is awarded to the Early Career individual presenting the best research or teaching abstract on the subject of rare and aggressive pituitary tumours at the Conference, and is worth £400.
