Student Media Award
Create an engaging piece of media – think video, animation, podcast, infographic – or even a painting, poem or song – that brings endocrinology to life for a chance to win £300 and have your work featured on the You and Your Hormones website!
Are you ready to get creative and inspire the next generation of scientists?
If you’re an undergraduate studying an endocrinology-related course (e.g., biomedical science, medicine, nursing, or allied health professions) or a postgraduate in an endocrine field, this is your chance to shine!
We want to see science explained in a fun and engaging way for KS4 students (ages 14–16) that might also tackle any myths. We’re challenging you to produce an exciting piece of media – think video, animation, podcast, or infographic – around one of the following topics:
-
Cortisol
-
Thyroid
-
Progesterone
Not only is science communication a vital skill for every scientist, but this competition is also a fantastic way to show off your creativity, build your storytelling skills, and add valuable public engagement experience to your CV.
Bring endocrinology to life and help young learners discover the fascinating world of hormones!
"We would like to thank the society for endocrinology for the award. This award definitely gives trainees and students the opportunity to show their skills and at the same time enhance public engagement."
Do you teach or supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in endocrinology-related subjects?
