Diabetes UK is the largest national charity for the 3 million people with diabetes in the UK and their families and carers. They are seeking four new trustees to take up a position on their board from July 2010. Furthermore, they are seeking a new Honorary Treasurer to take up appointment in July 2011.

Diabetes UK welcomes Trustees who are enthusiastic about Diabetes UK’s work, capable of independent thought, strong communicators, and able to ask incisive questions to complement the work of the Executive Team. Being a Trustee will be both challenging and extremely rewarding as you will contribute to the impact of our work on the lives of people with diabetes. Applicants to the position of Treasurer will ideally have significant expertise and understanding of the financial management of a complex organisation.
