Join the You and Your Hormones Editorial Board

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic member to join the Editorial Board of the Society's public-facing website, You and Your Hormones.

You and Your Hormones is a trusted, accessible source of evidence-based information about endocrinology for the general public. As a member of the Editorial Board, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, accuracy and relevance of the website's content. Working collaboratively with fellow Board members, you will help shape the site's editorial direction, review new and updated content, and provide final approval for materials developed by our Content Editors.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has strong, up-to-date knowledge of endocrine science and clinical guidelines
• Is passionate about clear, accurate communication of complex topics for the general public
• Has experience in, or enthusiasm for, public engagement and science communication
• Is comfortable reviewing and providing constructive feedback on written content
• Enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues from a range of backgrounds

This is a 3-year appointment, working alongside a supportive Editorial Board team.

Who can apply:

• Clinical Editorial board members should be nearing the end of their clinical training or have completed their clinical training. 

• Scientist Editorial Board members should be post-PhD 

• Nurse Editorial Board Members should be >3 years’ experience in endocrine nursing. 
• Applicants who are early career i.e. up to CCT for clinical members or PhD students, may be invited as co-opted members for one year followed by appointment as an elected Editorial Board Member for up to two years.
