We are pleased to launch the SfE Student Media Award 2025!

The Society for Endocrinology is delighted to announce the launch of the 2025 Student Media Award – an exciting opportunity for students to get creative, develop their science communication skills, and bring hormone science to life.
This annual competition invites students to create a piece of media aimed at KS4 pupils (aged 14–15), covering one of three fascinating topics:
- Cortisol
- Thyroid
- Progesterone
Entries can take a variety of formats – from videos and posters to podcasts or other creative media – giving students the freedom to choose how best to communicate their ideas.
Why take part?
The Student Media Award is a brilliant way for students to:
- Enhance science communication skills
- Showcase creativity and innovation
- Add valuable experience to CVs and university applications
- Gain recognition by featuring on the Society’s You and Your Hormones website
Awards and prizes
