Post-Radioiodine management of Patients with Graves' Disease (PRAGMA)

PRAGMA focuses on patients with Graves’ disease as the commonest cause of thyrotoxicosis and the commonest indication for radio-iodine therapy.

The project aims to study patients with Graves’ disease treated with RI and compare the incidence of dysthyroidism post-radioiodine between  two different management strategies employed by clinicians in the UK: use of anti-thyroid drugs (with and without levothyroxine) compared to watchful monitoring and introduction of levothyroxine when needed.
