Society for Endocrinology announcement

Society for Endocrinology announcement: Endocrine Academy 2020 (Career Development Workshop, Clinical Update and Endocrine Nurse Update) will be postponed.

The Society has been closely monitoring updates and recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), Public Health England and the government, as well as actively following travel advisories and restrictions being placed on hospitals and institutions with regards to COVID-19. The health and wellbeing of our attendees and organisers is our number one priority and we are sensitive to the additional pressures on the NHS. After careful consideration it has been decided to follow the recommendation from the Society’s Officers and to postpone Endocrine Academy until the latter part of 2020.

We are currently working to secure alternative dates at Hilton Birmingham Metropole, and will share these once confirmed.
