Society for Endocrinology - a world-leading authority on hormones

Strands and Convenors

The national curriculum in endocrinology and diabetes issued by the Joint Royal Colleges of Physicians Training Board is divided into eight strands covered over the three-year cycle of Clinical Update events.

Professor Mark Sherlock (Programme Chair 2019 to 2021) and the Society are grateful to the following senior endocrinologists for agreeing to convene the strands. Each convenor will be joined by up to two leaders in the field who will give a short seminar on a topic before helping to facilitate discussions around the case presentations.
