Society for Endocrinology - a world-leading authority on hormones

Call for cases

This year we are asking that all attendees submit a case, please read below for more information.

Sharing your case at Clinical Update is a fantastic opportunity to gain recognition for your work and receive feedback from peers and senior endocrinologists.

All cases must be submitted via our online submission system.

Case submission deadline: Thursday 9 March 2023 (11.59pm GMT)

Presentations at Clinical Update 2023

If your case is selected for Clinical Update 2023, you will be asked to present your case in a related workshop during the Meeting.

The primary aim of each workshop is to discuss cases that you routinely encounter in your endocrinology clinics. All registering delegates are asked to submit a case of a representative, routine clinical case that will be of core interest. This is vital for the success of the interactive workshops.

Remember, we are not looking for unusual or special cases, simply what you would see day-to-day in your clinic. It is the discussion that will make the presentation special.

Workshops will begin with one of the facilitators providing a short seminar, introducing the topic of selected cases. This will be followed by one or two 5-minute accepted case presentations from delegates that will be discussed in detail with encouragement from the strand convenor and facilitators. You will then have the opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns and seek advice.

Please note that there are no poster presentations at Clinical Update 2023. Selected cases will be presented during the Meeting workshops and all accepted cases will be printed in the course booklet for reference during the meeting.

All accepted cases will be published in Endocrine Abstracts – a fully online and citable collection of all the cases presented during the Society for Endocrinology Clinical Update 2023 Meeting.
