SfE will continue to closely monitor updates and recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), Public Health England and the government, as well as actively following travel advisories and restrictions being placed on hospitals and institutions with regards to COVID-19. The health and wellbeing of our attendees and organisers is our number one priority and we are sensitive to the additional pressures on the NHS at this time and will review event plans accordingly as we move forward into 2021.

The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is located eight miles from Birmingham city centre and situated next to the NEC, LG Arena, Birmingham International Train Station and Birmingham Airport.

By Road

The nearest motorways to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole are the M6 & M42. Follow signs to the NEC, then the signs to the hotel entrance. The hotel has 600 car parking spaces onsite which cost £9 per car per day and are subject to availability. By Rail

The nearest train station is Birmingham International Station, which is approximately 10 minutes by train from Birmingham New Street train station. From Birmingham International railway station, delegates may use the free telephone to arrange a collection to the hotel, by courtesy bus. The bus stop is Bus Stop C and located next to the taxi rank in the bus depot. The journey to the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel takes approximately 15 minutes. The 24-hour service runs at 30-minute intervals.

By Air

Birmingham Airport is located 2 miles away from the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel and takes 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes by foot. A taxi will cost around £6.00.
