Under an hour by rail from London & 30 minutes from London Gatwick Airport, everything is within walking distance. The Brighton Centre is one of the largest purpose built conference and exhibition centres in the South of England.

By train

Travelling by train is often the fastest way to get to Brighton from other UK destinations.  If you are travelling from Europe, the Eurostar train arrives from Europe at St Pancras, London, where there are direct train connections to Brighton. More information

The Brighton Centre is located right in the centre of Brighton and on the seafront. The main entrance is on the seafront on King's Road. For directions from your home or office visit www.multimap.com and input BN1 2GR for the destination postcode.

Catering

Lunch is also included in the cost of registration for Monday 7 November, Tuesday 8 November and Wednesday 9 November. Delegates are requested to indicate any special dietary requirements in advance using the online registration form.

Complimentary tea and coffee will be available during scheduled breaks in the Exhibition Hall throughout the conference.

Childcare facilities

Officrèche are offering all participants of SfE BES 2016 discounted childcare on Monday 7th to Wednesday 9th November on a first come first served basis. Officrèche is an Ofsted-approved nursery just 5 minutes’ walk from Brighton station, and 10 minutes’ walk from the conference venue.

CPD accreditation

 SfE BES 2016 has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 18 category 1 (external) CPD credits

Approved by the Royal Society of Biology for purposes of CPD, this event may be counted as 96 CPD credits.

Society for Endocrinology AGM

The annual general meeting of the Society for Endocrinology will be held on Tuesday 8 November 2016 at 18.15 - 19:00. All members are invited to attend.
