To celebrate the Day of Immunology 2010 the British Society for Immunology (BSI) has opened an image competition to explore the diversity of the subject in all its forms, and the impact is has on our lives.

Immunology in Action is open to all, from school children to patients to professors. Images should explore an immunological theme: whether something found down the microscope; medicines and treatment; or field work or education. Entries will be judged on their visual impact, originality and their ability to communicate immunology. First prize is £1000 and there are a total of 12 prizes to be won.

Entries to the competition must be submitted by post to be received by 5.00pm, 30 July 2010. The address for submissions and further information can be found by following the link below.
