The Wellcome Trust are now inviting applications for two Fellowship schemes: the Senior Research Fellowships in Basic Biomedical Science and the International Senior Research Fellowships in Biomedical Science.

The Senior Research Fellowships in Basic Biomedical Science provide basic scientists who have between five and normally ten years' postdoctoral experience with support to establish themselves as independent researchers within the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The International Senior Research Fellowships in Biomedical Science support outstanding researchers, either medically qualified or science graduates, who wish to establish a research career in an academic institution in selected European countries - Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakian Republic and Slovenia.
