12 Mar 2019

The new Endocrine Consequences of Living with and Beyond Cancer Network joins our seven existing Endocrine Networks to provide focus, networking and collaboration opportunities for those with an interest in research and clinical care associated with endocrinology and cancer.

The Endocrine Network convenors, Dr Helen Simpson and Dr Claire Higham look forward to hearing from anyone with an interest in this endocrine area and working together with you to advance research and clinical practice in this field.

Key Topics of the Endocrine Network

  • Endocrine and metabolic consequences of cancer and cancer therapies
  • Electrolyte disturbances such as hyponatraemia, hypo/hypercalcaemia
  • Immunotherapy toxicities
  • Endocrine consequence of proton beam therapy.
  • Bone health
  • Work towards recommending interventions and surveillance strategies

To join this, or any of our other Endocrine Networks, log in to the ‘My profile’ sections of the Members’ Area and select the Networks you are interested in.

Don’t forget to sign up to our dedicated communications platform for the Endocrine Networks, by visiting SfE Connect and clicking to ‘Request Invite’. On SfE Connect you can chat online with your Network peers to get advice, share knowledge or set up meetings.
