LATs in Diabetes & Endocrinology, Brighton

26 May 2009

Via healthjobsuk.com. Applications are invited for appointment to Locum Appointment for Training (LAT) posts on the Specialist Training Programmes in Diabetes & Endocrinology in Kent, Surrey and Sussex (KSS) Deanery at the Royal Sussex County Hospital as soon as possible – 6 October 2009. LAT posts do not attract a NTN, although up to one year may subsequently count towards the award of the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) on the advice of the College of Emergency Medicine from whom recognition must be obtained prospectively.

All candidates should be eligible for registration with the GMC. MRCP or equivalent is essential for entry to the programme. Where equivalent qualifications or experience are being offered, it is essential that the candidate provides written confirmation from the Royal College and attaches this to their application. Applicants who do not provide this confirmation will not be put forward for shortlisting. Applicants need to be aware that although trainees' preferences are considered when making decisions on placements, final decisions take into account the service needs of all sites within our training programmes. The closing date for applications is 17 June 2009. Further information is available at the link below.
