Via www.jobs.ac.uk. The University of Warwick are recruiting a Novo Nordisk Clinical Research Fellow in Diabetes. Based in the Clinical Sciences Research Institute, Warwick Medical School this is a fixed term contract for 2 years on a salary of £28,976 - £45,562 pa. An enthusiastic and dynamic individual is sought to contribute to the academic and clinical research of the Warwickshire Institute for the study of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism (WISDEM) Centre. The postholder will be involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes in diabetes, in addition to clinical duties. Applicants must possess MBChB and demonstrate evidence of research activity in medicine, with a special interest in diabetes, and a desire to pursue further training in this area. An appropriate level of clinical knowledge is essential, as is full GMC registration. The position requires excellent IT, interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work within an established team. MRCP, a good level of SpR training, a good publication record and a demonstrable ability in obtaining research funding is desirable.
