The Endocrine Service at King's College Hospital is looking to appoint a nurse specialist who will develop the clinical research and nursing services to the endocrinology department. This is a very exciting and challenging post which will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to work in one of the busiest endocrine departments in the country. The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with significant post registration acute medical, neurosurgical or oncology experience. You must have current registration with the NMC. Specific experience in endocrine conditions, although desirable, is not essential as we will provide appropriate training. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage your own work-load. Experience in carrying out formal programmes of clinical research is essential as you will be involved in co-ordinating and managing clinical trials on a national and international level.
