The Society for Endocrinology Competency Framework for Adult Endocrine Nursing was first developed in 2013 by our amazing dedicated nurse members. The Framework is designed to enhance the clinical care received by adults with an endocrine disorder and the professional development of the endocrine nurses helping them. In 2015, the 2nd Edition of this Competency Framework was published incorporating four new competencies: benign adrenal tumours, hypo- and hyperparathyroidism, osteoporosis and polycystic ovary syndrome.

The European Society for Endocrinology has now translated this 2nd Edition in to French and German which are now available online.
