By joining our Diabetes and Obesity department, you’ll be part of a team with wide-ranging expertise and play a high-profile role in researching potential new drugs for diabetes and obesity – two of the most pressing issues in public health today. We’re looking for a Senior Scientist to design and conduct high-quality in vivo experiments in animal models of metabolic disease, as well as lead others in the development of experimental approaches. It’s a pivotal and independent role that will see you collaborating with a wide range of internal stakeholders to develop successful strategies. You’ll need to have proven your expertise in this area already. Equipped ideally with a PhD, you’ll be a scientific leader and have a strong command of current in vivo techniques. You’ll also need to have developed a good understanding of the Islet biology field.
