The Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation invites the submission of research projects and proposals requiring funding in the field of diabetes. Full parameters for applications may be obtained from the charity or its website. Types of application currently considered suitable would be: Research Projects - clinical or non-clinical, of 1 year’s duration (though extensions may be considered) and with a budget of up to £30,000; Exchange Fellowships (especially between the UK and the USA); Applications must be received on or before Friday 6 June 2008. The charity’s Research Advisory Board meets in October. Applicants will be notified early November and, if successful, expected to take up the grants early in 2009.
