A type-2 diabetes treatment may increase the need for lower limb amputation

Treating type-2 diabetes patients with sodium glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors may increase the need for lower limb amputation, compared to using glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonists, according to research published in the BMJ.
